Cindy Warnke has a mechanical engineering degree from Georgia Tech and has been teaching her own 6 children at home for the last 18 years. She is currently writing her own math curriculum for 1st – 6th grades. Cindy has been tutoring public schooled and homeschooled students for the last several years. Cindy has developed skills in recognizing the “holes” in the students’ math understanding and recommends specific remedies for each student. True understanding of math concepts is stressed rather than mere rote or memorization.

Joe Warnke is a lifelong homeschooled student whose love of learning has brought him to great knowledge and understanding of many things in life, especially history. Within the last two years, Joe has won three awards giving speeches on historical topics. In addition, he has been invited this year to speak to several international gatherings of historically minded organizations. Joe’s account of the incidents at Fort Sumter was selected for publication in an anthology of young Georgia writers that will be available Fall 2004. He has also written several articles on historical topics and is authoring several books, including one on the late Iraqi War.
