GROUP TUTORING CLASS This class is designed to be a resource for those students working independently in their choice of math curricula. Students may choose to attend or not attend any of their 12 classes. Classes are not planned, but are rather opportunities for students to get their choice of concepts explained and problems worked. Students bring their own curriculum (teacher and student books) to class and ask for help. Think of this class like a math teacher on retainer. Save your weekly problems to ask the teacher. Times and cost: You may choose to sign up for more than one group tutoring session preferably with a minimum of one day in between sessions.
12 weeks
All classes may be subject to minimum enrollment.
PRIVATE, PERSONALIZED MATH TUTORING – available at Homeschool Hangout for $55 per hour by Cindy Warnke, 706-216-1807.
Cindy Warnke has a mechanical engineering degree from Georgia Tech and has been teaching her own 6 children at home for the last 18 years. She is currently writing her own math curriculum for 1st – 6th grades. Cindy has been tutoring public schooled and homeschooled students for the last several years. Cindy has developed skills in recognizing the “holes” in the students’ math understanding and recommends specific remedies for each student. True understanding of math concepts is stressed rather than mere rote or memorization.
